Great move, using Google to search TechMeme was basically broken even if it worked sometimes.

This is going to be a lot of fun, especially now that we can further crunch the data, seeing which news sources first reached Techmeme on specific topics or keywords, or the most frequently. Techmeme has become a lot more than just a point in time Web site, but a serious repository worth looking into.

Thanks a lot for the feature! However I want to underline that Google site search had always worked very well with Techmeme and it had been a sort of wikipedia of tech news until now. The built-in search will make things easier and richier though.

First, thanks for the mention Gabe (and Omer!). I think it's important to note that Gabe and I have never met. We exchanged 1 'Twit' a long time ago AFTER Gabe's bot discovered my blog. Within 1 minute of our post earlier today, the discussion link was on TechMeMe. That, in itself, is incredible to me and a sign of the times and that innovation is alive and well. The implications of search on TechMeMe are endless. Among which, journalists worldwide have a new research tool. Keep an eye on Danny too. Some may remember him exclaiming 'I Love Feedburner' and a few months later ... Google bought them.

Gabe, nice work. I met you at the Slide.com launch party... I think you'd just started this baby. I've been an avid visitor since.

Was just about to jump to the RSS request, but I see Keith added one using yahoo... so I'll grab that.
